Xcel Energy is an investor-owned electricity and natural gas company with regulated operations in eight Midwestern and Western states. Northern States Power Company-Wisconsin, a wholly owned subsidiary of Xcel Energy and Wisconsin's No. 1 renewable energy provider, serves 250,000 electricity and 100,000 natural gas customers in northwestern Wisconsin and a portion of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The Wisconsin headquarters are in Eau Claire.
