Since 1994, a diverse and concerned group of community and business leaders from the Chippewa Valley has journeyed to Madison each January for the purpose of strengthening the area’s relationship with state government, to educate, influence and thank state legislators on issues of importance to our area, and to network with leaders from the Chippewa Valley. The Rally has helped strengthen partnerships with State government and has successfully brought legislative attention to the Chippewa Valley. The Chippewa Valley Rally event includes travel by motor coach to Madison, a group briefing session, pre-arranged small group meetings with state legislators, coalition building presentations, and an evening reception with the state government officials, state legislators and their staff.
This event is organized by the Chippewa Valley Chamber Alliance which is made up of the three chambers within the Chippewa Valley; Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire and Menomonie. The Chamber Alliance businesses contribute significantly to the employment and tax base in Wisconsin. Over 2,500 businesses are members of the Chamber Alliance, and represent nearly 60,000 employees. This creates a vibrant business center that benefits the entire state of Wisconsin.
