LETTER FROM THE NEW CHAIR

Dear Chamber Members:

Thank you for the opportunity to serve as your Chairman of the Board for 2012-13. We have a busy year planned as we will be completing the third year of our three-year Strategic Plan. We are fortunate to have a great organization with the Eau Claire Chamber staff under the leadership of Bob McCoy, the Board of Directors, and committee chairs all working to make this a great year!

There are a couple of programs that are particularly exciting this year. In an effort to create more opportunities for our members to network, we will be starting a new program called ConnectForLunch. I encourage you to participate in this great new program. Youth Leadership Eau Claire will start its 10th class this year as we continue to mentor the next generation of leaders.

The Chamber staff, the Board of Directors and the committee chairs are committed to working on your behalf to make this year a great experience for you and to help your business grow. If you have not taken the time to be involved with the Chamber in the past, now is the time! I would encourage you to attend one or more of the many events such as Business After Hours, The Business Expo, the Leadership Success Series, Eggs and Issues or the many educational programs. Please take advantage of the benefits that come with your membership and the opportunity it provides to network and grow. I wish you the best in the coming year and hope to see you at many of the Chamber events!

Sincerely,

Bill Hilgedick, Edward Jones
Chairman of the Board
