Event Description: The Working Mothers’ Luncheon is a new Chamber program developed to address the challenges working mothers face in today’s business environment. Soon-to-be mothers and those who are planning for motherhood someday in the near future also are encouraged to attend. Fathers and other caregivers are also welcome.

Working moms: Do you crave the opportunity to connect and talk with other mothers about common issues you each face? Join us for this inaugural event where mothers—from a variety of businesses, with children of various ages—come together to seek guidance from one another. During lunch, gain practical ideas and advice from other working mothers to help balance your work/life experiences in an informal, brainstorming atmosphere.

Then, join keynote speaker Holly Hakes from Aurora Community Services to learn how being real is the true super power. In her keynote, So You Say You’re Not Superwoman!, Hakes points out that it seems like you see Superwoman everywhere and while you may not be real interested in being her, sometimes you wonder if you “should” be. But once you’ve learned (and accepted) the power of being REAL, you actually become a Superwoman. Your own unique, REAL version of Superwoman – the most powerful kind of all!

Gather a group of friends or come alone for this unique chance to connect and share with other working moms. Cost to attend is $25 for Chamber members and $45 for non-members.
