City Council elections coming this spring
On April 6, there will be city council elections in both Eau Claire and Altoona. The election will take place on Tuesday, April 6. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Click here for full voting information, including early absentee and early voting.
Eau Claire City Council
In Eau Claire, there are five city council seats up for election. The Eau Claire City Council is made up of ten city council members and one city council president. Each member is elected for a 3-year term. Five members are elected from aldermanic districts and five members are elected at large. The five district seats are the only positions up for election this spring. To see which district you live in, click here.
All five incumbents are seeking reelection. Councilwomen Emily Berge and Jill Christopherson do not have any challengers for their districts. However, councilmembers Emily Anderson, Jeremy Gragert, and Andrew Werthmann are running against challengers Kyle Woodman, Josh Stanley, and Gabriel Schlieve respectively.

Altoona City Council
In Altoona, three city council seats are up for election. The Altoona City Council is made up of six City Council members and one mayor. Each member is elected for a 2-year term. This year, districts 4, 5, and 6 are up for election. To see which district you live in, click here.
All three incumbents are seeking reelection and are running unopposed.
