Siemens Building Technologies, the world market leader for safe, energy efficient and environmentally friendly buildings and infrastructure, recently named Bartingale Mechanical, Inc. of Eau Claire as 2014 Building Automation Dealer of the Year. Bartingale Mechanical achieved the highest combination of net and percentage sales growth of all Siemens’ U.S. value-added partners, installing Siemens’ Talon BAS in a variety of new and existing facilities in western Wisconsin. Nearly 100 Siemens value-added partners contended for the prestigious award. In addition to naming Bartingale Mechanical as its 2014 Dealer of the Year, Siemens also recognized the plumbing and HVAC contractor at a recent company event for exceptional sales growth during 2014. HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital has received the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award with Target: StrokeSM Honor Roll. The award recognizes the hospital’s commitment and success ensuring that stroke patients receive the most appropriate treatment according to nationally accepted, research-based guidelines based on the latest scientific evidence. Sacred Heart Hospital earned the award by meeting specific quality achievement measures for the diagnosis and treatment of stroke patients at a set level for a designated period. Jerard Jensen has been named general counsel for the Marshfield Clinic Health System. Jensen, a Milwaukee native, brings more than 25 years of experience as regional managing shareholder and a health care attorney in the Madison office of Milwaukee-based Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C. He earned a bachelor’s degree from UW-Oshkosh; completed a New York City Urban Fellowship; received his juris doctor degree at UW-Madison. Jensen is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and affiliated with the American Health Lawyers Association and Corporate and Health Law Sections, Wisconsin Bar Association. This event was held at UW-Eau Claire Davies Center on April 21.
