The Great Lakes Graphics Association (GLGA) has announced that Supreme Graphics of Arcadia has won 15 awards in the 2016 Graphics Excellence Awards competition. The GEA competition is one of the largest printing competitions in the nation. Supreme Graphics won seven Awards of Excellence and eight Certificates of Merit. The awards were given in the categories of booklets, calendars, product catalogs, annual reports, and folders.
John Sackett, director at Royal Credit Union, was elected by acclamation to the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Board of Ddirectors for a full three-year term. Sackett has served as the District 4, Class C Board member since June 30, 2015 following the retirement of the previous representative. District 4, Class C represents credit unions with over 106,000 Members in Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri and Wisconsin. Sackett is the first volunteer elected to the CUNA Board since the 1996 Renewal Review recommendations changed the election procedures and composition of the Board. His term began following the adjournment of CUNA’s Annual General Meeting in Washington, DC on February 22, 2016 during the CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference. The Samuels Group announces that Tim Nordlund has been promoted to regional manager of construction operations. In this role, Nordlund is responsible for planning, organizing and directing the activities associated with the construction of projects. Nordlund has been with The Samuels Group since 1995. Charter Bank is among four Wisconsin banks and two Minnesota banks ranked among the best-performing banks in the nation by SNL Financial, an industry research and information firm. Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC) will offer a new fully online Professional Communication beginning with the Fall 2016 term. It will be an associate degree program and will offer advanced certificates for technical writing, grant writing and writing for media. CVTC developed the program after receiving feedback from an ad hoc committee that included representatives from business, non-profits, media, K-12 education and marketing professionals. The program will be offered in eight-week segments, with starting dates in August, October, January, March and June. Marco has been named the winner of two 2016 Perfect Image Awards by imageSource Magazine in the categories of Dealer of the Year and Outstanding Leadership in Customer Engagement. The prestigious awards program recognizes exceptional leadership and innovation in the office channel.
