EO Johnson Business Technologies was recognized at the 2017 Marketplace Governor’s Awards, winning the 2017 Wisconsin Women Business Enterprise Award – Outstanding Large Business. The Marketplace Governor’s Awards recognize Wisconsin businesses owned by minorities, women and service-disabled veterans in a number of categories. More than 400 business of all backgrounds and sizes applied for the 2017 awards, and 21 finalists were chosen. Three businesses, including EO Johnson, were finalists for the Outstanding Large Business award that recognizes established businesses that have demonstrated the capacity to grow over the past five years and have plans for continued expansion in the future. EO Johnson Business Technologies has been certified as a woman-owned business by the State of Wisconsin Department of Administration Division of Enterprise Operations since 2014.
Care Partners Assisted Living and Memory Care announced that it is expanding into the west side of Eau Claire with a 60-bed assisted living community with 40 beds for assisted care and 20 beds for memory care. Construction is underway and expected to be open in the summer of 2018. Care Partners will be located across the highway from Menards Regional Office at 5110 Stonewood Drive in Eau claire. Residents will enjoy an array of homelike areas including an open kitchen floor plan like many of our homes now. Also, included in the community are large living room spaces, activity room, library, and sun porches for the resident to enjoy visiting with family and friends. Care Partners is a provider of high-quality assisted living and memory care communities throughout Wisconsin that specializes in small home like settings that provide personalized services and quality resident care. Three HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital colleagues recently earned advanced certification in their respective fields. Teresa Loftsgaarden, MSN, RN, OCN, who provides cancer navigation services for both Sacred Heart Hospital and Prevea Oncology, recently earned her Oncology Nurse Navigator-Certified Generalist credential. She is also certified as an oncology nurse. Robin Miller, certified registered nurse in the hospital’s women and infants department, recently earned her Inpatient Obstetric Nursing certification, which means that she is certified in inpatient obstetric care. This certification is an evaluative process that provides the opportunity for nurses in the obstetric, gynecologic and/or neonatal specialty to demonstrate publicly what they know and to be recognized for the special knowledge they possess. Katie Sarver, licensed professional counselor in the hospital’s palliative care department, recently earned her National Certified Counselor credential. This is the premier certification for the counseling profession. Sarver holds a master's degree in counseling, and has met high national standards for the practice of counseling. Comments are closed.
