Hospital Sisters Health System announced that Andrew J. Bagnall, MHA, FACHE, has been appointed to serve as president and chief executive officer for HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital and HSHS Western Wisconsin Division. Bagnall currently serves as president and CEO of HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan. He will begin this new role on February 5. Since joining HSHS in 2010, Bagnall has helped transform the culture at St. Nicholas by leading initiatives that improved quality, safety, the patient experience and colleague and physician engagement. Furthermore, he has advanced the integration and alignment of Prevea Health and other physician groups. Bagnall also oversaw the financial turnaround of the hospital, the growth of patient services, and major capital projects including the renovation of the hospital’s surgical platform and the ICU. For a ninth consecutive year Mercury Marine has presented Zacho Sports Center of Chippewa Falls its prestigious Service Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) Award for 2017. Mercury Marine’s Service CSI Program measures the satisfaction of consumers after having service work done on their Mercury outboard or MerCruiser Sterndrive or inboard. A total of 206 out of 5,000 North American dealers qualified for the Service CSI Award for 2017. Zacho Sports Center was the only dealer in northwest Wisconsin to receive the award and with a score of 97/100 ranks in the top one percent of all Mercury dealers. In addition, Zacho Sports Center is one of only 24 dealerships in the United States that has received this award 9 or more consecutive years. Dale Strobach has joined the marine division of Zacho Sports Center as a sales representative. Strobach previously worked in the automotive industry in sales. In addition, David Ellious has joined the powersports division as a sales representative. Ellious previously worked in the automotive industry in sales and service. Zacho Sports Center operates a marine and powersports dealership in Chippewa Falls and is locally owned and operated by Damin Zacho and Mike Emberson. Applications are being accepted for three positions on the Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC) Board of Trustees. The open positions include one member who is an employer, one who is an employee and one school district administrator. Successful candidates will serve three-year terms beginning July 1, 2018. Prevea Health is now offering midwifery care in three locations throughout western Wisconsin: Prevea Women’s Care at HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chippewa Falls, the Prevea Hamilton Health Center in Eau Claire and the Prevea Mondovi Health Center. Prevea Health’s midwifery services are part of Prevea Women’s Care and provided by Annie Bailey, CNM. As a certified nurse-midwife (CNM), Bailey provides pregnancy care as well as routine care for women of all ages and stages of life. She earned a master of science in Nnrsing from the University of Minnesota and is certified as a nurse-midwife by the American Midwifery Certification Board. Danny Pohnl has joined the growing team at Merchants Bank in Eau Claire as a Commercial Banker, according to Larry Accola, President for Merchants Bank in Eau Claire. Pohnl has been in banking since 2011, working in mortgage loans, as a credit analyst and most recently as a commercial banker, all in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro market. He is an experienced SBA (Small Business Administration) Lender, comfortable working with SBA 7(a) and 504 loans.
