Founded in 1953 by Grant Paul, the firm became known as Seymour Davis Seymour when longtime employees and associates Pete Seymour, Gary Davis, and Joe Seymour assumed ownership in 1984. To reflect the growth of the architectural practice and a long-term ownership transition plan, the corporation’s name was changed to SDS Architects, Inc. in 1994. Today, the firm has a reputation of design excellence in elementary, secondary, and post-secondary education; commercial; manufacturing; recreational; government; and religious facilities.
