Community Health Assessment - Final Report for Eau Claire County
The results of the most recent Community Health Assessment for Eau Claire County are now available in final report form. The assessment process was used to review and prioritize local health concerns, many of which reflect similar findings in previous years. Those health areas that rose to the top in Eau Claire County included Drug Use, Mental Health, Alcohol Misuse, Obesity, and Healthy Nutrition.
As you may recall, local health partners began performing the Community Health Assessment this past fall. This process involved conducting a Community Health Survey; reviewing secondary data (local, state, and national health comparisons); holding virtual Community Conversations; and meeting with Eau Claire Healthy Communities. The results will be used to develop a Community Health Improvement Plan, which will be used to drive local health improvement efforts over the next three years (until the next Community Health Assessment).
The final report can be found on-line at http://bit.ly/ECHealthAssessment.
