Scott Rannila has been hired as vice president, private banking relationship manager with Associated Private Client Services. In this role he works with high-net-worth clients and their families to deliver customized, confidential and comprehensive financial solutions. Rannila brings more than 12 years of financial services experience to Associated. Most recently he served as vice president, Premier Services with BMO Harris Bank and held previous roles with M&I Bank and Bank of America. He attended Fitchburg State University where he studied business administration and management. He holds Series 6 & 63 securities licenses as well as Wisconsin state insurance licenses.
United Way of the Greater Chippewa Valley announced Vicki Hoehn, vice president of community engagement at Royal Credit Union as the 2015 United Way Campaign Chair. For more than 32 years Hoehn has been a supporter and volunteer of United Way and began her one-year term as campaign chair officially on July 1, 2015. United Way of the Greater Chippewa Valley also has elected five new members to its Board of Directors whose terms began in July of 2015: Dale Peters, director of human resources, risk management, purchasing and information services for the City of Eau Claire; Darrin Senn, owner of Senn Blacktop; Jen Rombalski, director of the Chippewa County Department of Public Health; Mary Jacobson of Chippewa Falls will serve at large on the advocacy committee; and Andrew Martin, leasing agent for Goldridge Capital Management, who will serve as Emerging Leaders Society Advisory Council chair. Dustin Hurtgen has been promoted to vice present/commercial lender for Charter Bank Eau Claire. Hurtgen will continue to manage his commercial lending portfolio and also will work with business development opportunities. In addition, he is a recent graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at UW-Madison. Charter Bank also announced that Sheila Stabe was promoted to deposit operations officer. Stabe will supervise the daily functions in the Deposit Operations Department related to ACH origination and deposit processing including account research and error resolution. The Chippewa Valley Regional Airport (CVRA) Commission recently presented a plaque renaming the ‘Commission Meeting Room’ the ‘Duax Commission Room’. Local leader David Duax was recognized by the Airport Commission on August 21, 2015 with a plaque commemorating the naming of the Commission Meeting Room as the Duax Commission Room. The Airport Commission wanted to honor the many contributions Duax had made in support of the airport as a commissioner and as a community leader. Nurse practitioner Angelica Larson recently joined the Allergy & Asthma Department at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire. Larson earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing at UW-Eau Claire. She also earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Larson is certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and as an advance practice nurse prescriber by the state of Wisconsin. Previously, Larson worked as a nurse practitioner in gastroenterology at Marshfield Clinic in Eau Claire and as a public health nurse for Trempealeau County Health Department in Whitehall. Thomas Wagner, a physician assistant, recently joined the Emergency Department at Mayo Clinic Health System. He will see patients in Barron, Bloomer, Eau Claire, Menomonie and Osseo. Wagner earned his master’s degree in physician assistant studies from UW-Madison. He received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from UW-Eau Claire. He also is a firefighter and first responder for Township Fire Department, serving residents in the towns of Seymour, Washington, Union, Pleasant Valley and Brunswick. Richard “Rich” Schahczinski, RN, has been named director of the Emergency Department at HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital. Schahczinski brings more than 25 years of emergency nursing experience to his new role. He most recently served as emergency department director at Montrose Memorial Hospital in Montrose, CO. He has also served as emergency department director at St. Mary's Hospital in Kankakee, Illinois, and has served as a clinical resource nurse at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital in the Chicago area. Schahczinski earned his nursing degree from St. Joseph’s Hospital in Joliet, Illinois.
