The Small Business of the Year Award celebrates small employers and their contribution to the
Eau Claire area.
For this award, a small business is defined as an independently owned and operated business headquartered in Eau Claire that is organized for profit. To receive an Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year Award, the company must be a member of the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce for at least five (5) years and be located in the Chippewa Valley.
Awards will be given in two categories: 1 - 50 Employees; 50 - 500 Employees.
Judging Criteria: Growth and sustainability of company; entrepreneurship; Innovativeness of products or services; Response to adversity; Community involvement and stewardship; Commitment to good business practices; Workplace culture and employee relation
