Eau Claire School Board and County Board Districts 9 and 18 Primary to be held on February 15th

There will be a primary held on February 15th for the Eau Claire School District and the County Board Districts of 9 and 18. These races are being held to narrow down the candidates for each race so that there is a maximum of two candidates per seat. Seven candidates have filled for three seats on the Eau Claire School Board, making a primary necessary to narrow it down to six candidates for the general election in April. Additionally, three candidates have filed for both District 9 and 18 for the Eau Claire County Board, making a primary needed for those races as well. The general election for each of these races, as well as the rest of the County Board and City Council election, will be held on April 5th.

Early voting started on February 1st and ends on February 11th at the Eau Claire City Hall through a modified drive-through process. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm. Additionally, absentee ballots can be dropped off at City Hall or at your polling place or can be returned via mail. Completed absentee ballots must be received by 8pm on election day.
