Employee Ownership: A Business Succession and Retention Strategy

The University of Wisconsin – Madison extension is offering a free webinar on employee ownership. This webinar will help companies pursue their retention strategy as the baby boomer generation is retiring. With this shift in employee demographic, it is very important that companies have these resources so that they can make the right adjustments according to their goals as a business. This conversion to employee ownership is crucial to the success of retaining businesses, jobs, and wealth, in local communities as stated in the description.

This webinar is free, as mentioned above, and all individuals is encourage to attend. This event will run on Thursday, May 11th from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. At the webinar, there will be representatives from employee-owned businesses that are going to open up about their personal experiences in this conversion process. Additionally, they will share both the benefits and challenges of this process.
