What is the Workforce Solutions Summit?

The workforce Solutions Summit is an annual event hosted by the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce. It’s designed to bring together employers around the Chippewa Valley to discuss solutions to both immediate and long-term workforce problems. This year, the summit will be focusing on Adapting to the New Reality: The Ever Changing Workforce.

The main topics of the summit will be reviewing and revamping your recruitment process, caring for your existing staff, shifting the decision-makers mindset, tackling barriers to employment, regional talent attraction efforts, and resources to move your business forward. Each topic was decided on by the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce Workforce Committee and was brought to the attention of keynote speakers, community leaders, and local employers. The overall goal of this summit is to make the workplace a healthy environment for both the company leaders and workforce members.

To cover each of the topics of focus, there will be breakout sessions. Each session will be covered by a guest speaker volunteered to share their insight on one of the topics of focus and are honored to share their insight to help the local workforce.
